Sony Xperia 1 II (read Mark II) was announced in February with the promise that it will hit the shelves in the second quarter of this year. Now, Sony Spain has twitted that the new Sony flagship is going to be available in Europe this month. The fact that its lower-end sibling, the Xperia 10 II, has already been sent to retailers lends even more credence to this news.
Sony Xperia 1 II will come in two colours, black and purple, with a MSRP of 1,200 € for 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. The new model retains the 4K resolution for the 6.5″ OLED display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Three 12MP sensors on the back take care of its photo prowess, together with a ToF sensor, while an 8MP selfie camera sits on the front. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor from Qualcomm and, being a 2020 flagship, also comes with 5G support onboard.
