Limited edition anti-smartphone HMD (exNokia) & Heineken

Basic functionality and lack of distractions

Heineken has partnered with the creative agency Bodega to launch the Boring Phone, a device produced by HMD with a limited run of only 5,000 units, all of which will be given away. The Boring Phone is designed to be as unremarkable as possible, lacking third-party apps and Internet access to minimize distractions.

This phone is based on the Nokia 2660 Flip and features a transparent casing along with a custom monochrome theme. It includes a 2.8-inch QVGA (240 x 320px) main display and a 1.77-inch cover screen. The back of the device is equipped with a 0.3MP camera and an LED flash, while it operates on Mocor RTOS. Additionally, it comes with the classic Snake game, FM radio, and a headphone jack.

The Boring Phone supports up to 4G connectivity and includes dual SIM slots. It has 128MB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. The removable 1,450mAh battery offers up to a week of standby time and 6 hours of talk time on 3G/4G networks.
